earthquake devastation radiation
we spin helpless virtual
victims internet cable
roped in
downward spirals
fear like cold rain
we gotta
shake off the heavy
extricate hope
like lotus from mud
bloom light
into
seeds and
a few petals
can start
the springing
03/22/2011 Author's Note: I'm just wondering why all of these crazy events are happening in this new season of Spring? Which usually is about renewal, planting and rebirth, right? I can't watch any news right now...makes me sad and stressed...I'm hoping for a higher positive season here! Namaste MFS

| Posted by George Hoerner on 03/23/11 at 09:49 PM I hope that one could find the possibility of renewal in the countries in the Middle East where some seem to be standing up to the repression they've been under for so long. And of course we must acknowledge that we have supported some of these leaders. I wonder what a good penance would be for us to acknowledge we have sinned. |
