can't sleep

by Charlie Morgan

a devil changes position, celebrated in ignorance.
chanting organisms, human appearance, horas.

a cow becomes Queen; convertibles driven into
Time Warps' blurry opening; towne square.

i wipe my mouth, free it of distracting spit.
wipe my eyes lightly, then roughly to easy.

underwriting my mind's idea to never
sleep on my back with the t.v. on!

Weirdly unfunny, and that's not uncommon in your work. Good stuff, man.
