Eating and Love

and eating loves me
only it's that first love
that you can't turn off.
Unable to sleep
because you wonder
where or what
your love is
or if they are true to you.
Love so deep
and so incredibly ignorant
that you hug and hug
until finally it leaves you
because you loved it
too much.
Just like everything else
love and eating
they're both a game.
There is a trick to success
and hard work
as well as luck
are key factors.
Overweight and alone,
I wonder
where I went wrong
with an eating
I cannot turn off
and a loving
