I am so mad at this hand
I've been dealt
that I need to be mad
at something
for some thing
that has everything
to do with me
yet somehow
I make it out to be
their fault
when the true blame
is all mine.

It's possible, too,
perhaps the actuality
that the hand
is my fault, as well.

The two steps forward
and one back
is sometimes the opposite
and the fighting
just gets tiresome.

When is it time to celebrate?
