time zone by Charlie Morganhis space ship just took-off;
and i awaited his return.
but he motioned me with a wave
and yelling "come on Papaw!"
as i rose, i entered his time zone:
one filled with a make-believe-everything.
i adjusted my watch to Kid-time; i was off
to his worlds and safely in his running wake.
how we ended-up sucking our thumbs on the divan
is anyone's guess. perhaps the joke of the day
on Nicklodeon caused us to tire, perhaps it was
the tumbles our race car drivers took off the slide.
we had places to go, worlds to conquer, from lizards
to Unicorns: both real in the Kid-time world time zone. 03/12/2011 Posted on 03/12/2011 Copyright © 2026 Charlie Morgan

| Posted by Alison McKenzie on 03/13/11 at 08:23 PM Can I be your granddaughter? Of course, that would mean SEVERAL adjustments to the space-time continuum...hehe. I love this Charles!! |
| Posted by Alison McKenzie on 03/15/11 at 05:12 AM This is also so funny, because later this same day that I read this, Atreyu brought out his spaceship and wanted to play "aliens are coming to get us",and our tv consists of spongebob and nickjr. Hehe. |
