Bright Enough to Know (Lightening Quick)




the blue skies


burst open with raining,



a golden whisper hummed

as it befell the shaky clouds



and upon the earth the tears

breathed herein palms of sorrow,



but the silent echoes enchant

and we can embrace them everlong



just whistle right along

to something more than fading,



as it's time for the darkness

to subside back into black graves...



meanwhile, we're standing within the lightening

that's ripping into our hearts, heads & heavens
