Feeding the Endless Hunger


　

and what of the animals and beast alike,

when flesh is on kind parade, noseworthy,

but startling in its lack of peacefulness

　

for the hunger gets the best of the hungry,

no matter the mildness of a day nor hour...

　

and the swallowing goes down easiest

when it's belly bound, no matter the weather

or kindred-spirit - the devouring kills assuredly

　

but we all have our very own choices to make,

and, of course, the willingness to ingest plays

its roll in the cosmic plan, and it's endlessness
