A Conversation Between a Polar Bear and a Gorilla

by Corry Tincher

Hello Gorilla, How do you feela?

Me feela just fine,
but the sun's in me eyes;
Otherwise, just fine.

I'm enjoying the tundra, so how goes the jungle?

Oh it's just fine,
but overgrown with vines;
Otherwise, just fine.

What about the weather there, as cold as up here?

The weather is just fine,
but sometimes it's cold at night;
Otherwise, just fine.

You don't say, isn't that great?
But look at the time, it's getting so late,
and I was just on my way to hybernate.

It was nice to talk to a dear old friend.
Maybe be we can get in touch when you wake up again?

Well until the next time,
hang in the buddy, keep your chin up high.
I'm sure you'll be just fine.

Now this is fantasy! How does a gorilla happen to be where polar bears live? Amusing.
