a day made for me by Charlie Morgani could tell something about the morning;
off plumb would describe it; foggy, hazy and
the day itself, laconic.
and above i know the sun shines, schools filled
with kids who have sunshine in their veins.
and i know it, feel it and can't be either.
i am the moss outside Baton Rouge's trees;
green but living a life of appearing dead.
such as it is; only the weepers cry.
the sky will unzip its serape by noon,
when i, once again continue with retirement. 02/24/2011 Posted on 02/24/2011 Copyright © 2024 Charlie Morgan
