one and the same, reflection and purging
as i sit down to make a cup of tea.
that's what i do now, i sit and perform duties i used to do
standing up.
my legs are not aching, they have given up on me,
they no longer wish to hold this body up
and i can't blame them.


i abused everything and every
one.


i asked for forgiveness just once
but you were deaf and i'd forgotten how
to sign.
