these relationships
seem to be the death
of me
in my quest to see
who I will be
with next
it's as if a hex
has been placed
over my love life
(in my arcane efforts
to make you my next wife)
and yet, onward I go
into the flow
of following my heart,
the one I wear
on my sleeve,
if you please,
and always thinking
with the wrong head.
