it is according to

by Charlie Morgan

the little engine slept.

i was busy inventing the day;
so at this point, who knew
anything about the future.

i gathered my tools; first kiss,
first touchdown in high school,
A-Capella choir, President of the
7th, 8th, and 9th grade, College
Teacher of 40 years, first time,
the institution of Marriage[and
the tools to keep it operating,]

as it is dawning on the eastern coast,
i am checking the future's mirror because
of my up-coming debut to present the day.
