Always a hustle
to have hold of that rustle
of such green, the money
sweet as any honey
that could be in a pocket.
It rattles and jingles
even those crispy singles
in this rat race of life
to rise above the strife.
So listen up, take heed
even if it be poorly,
the self-same hourly
rate
is no debate
when life is good
as it should
be
or not.
Your choice,
but not your voice.
