figurative momentum by Matthew SharpCut the bottom out of the cup
taste test like perpetual connoisseurism
through the prison of senes pretenses
mold figure and destroy the facade
my soul to keep
a reflection to communicate and speak
grows its roots through to hold the core
imbibed by the light that nurtures its plight
if i bleed to death removing this tumor its worth it
to not host its purpose
propagating through tv shows, billboards,
slogans on our clothes
'overexposed'
cloning the angle offset feel balance so ideal
spurts of inertia momentum spins the wheel
i step out of bounds tossed around the lost and found
trying to hit the brakes
but its too late
the mechanic makes his mistakes
to save a dollar or two
