on the go

by Charlie Morgan

bursting into the film of my life,
at a rather young age, embryonic;
i have been gathering my tools,
my materials, my skills to build

a bridge to the Moon, perhaps. a
castle here on Earth.

alas, as so many others 'afore me:
i will learnto build a woodshed.
Thoreau would be so proud.

Sometimes the 'film' of our life takes a long time to develop and I'm sure yours is doing just fine. Nice write.
