Women shave your head by E. A. PughI shaved my head
After I awakened from a sickness
It was years ago
I am still sick today
I chased the fear from my mind by
shaving my head
I chased the fear from my heart naked
And nude in the house of my ancestors
I stripped my heart nude
Women shave your head
And get lost with out a body
Women shave your head
and get lost without a body
I am still sick today
The fear is in my body
A body is hard to shed
I am still sick today
The fear is in my body
A body is hard to shed
Tuned and forked I’ve arrived
At Monasteries
Three monasteries where
They too had shaved their heads
Catholic, Zen, Tibetan Buddhism,
Innocently teasing men at the monastery
Men at the monastery
Innocently teasing men at the monastery
Women shave your head
And get lost with out a body
Women shave your head
and get lost without a body
After I awakened from a sickness
I gave everything I owned away
the things I kept are missing today.
Now I a filled with abundances and more than I want
Women shave your head
Innocently teasing men at the monastery
Women shave your head
Why is there not a place for a woman to be found?
Why is it men who when shave their head seem wiser?
Where is the place for a woman with a shaved head?
Woman woman woman birth nurse
Where is the place for a mystic woman?
Who shaved her head and gave everything away?
Catholic, Zen, Islam,
Innocently teasing men at the monastery
Where is the place for the children of the woman with a shaved head?
And the children of the woman who chases fear away
Women shave your head
Women shave your head
And get lost with out a body
Women shave your head
and get lost without a body
Why is there not place for a woman to be found?
Why is it men who when shave their head seem more wise?
Where is the place for a woman with a shaved head?
Woman woman woman birth nurse
Where is the place for a mystic woman?
Who shaved her head and gave everything away?

| Posted by Sam Richmond on 04/29/11 at 06:20 PM I saw a young lady without hair by the name of Persis Khambatta in a Sci-Fi movie. I could only think of how exqusitely beautiful she was. She found her place, I hope that others may as well. A very thought provoking write. |
