'Tis Not With Mine Eye That I Doth Behold

by Joe Cramer

'Tis not with mine eye that I doth behold
the truest beautiful form that is thee.
It is with mine eye that I now do hold
mine true love, closest to the heart of me.
Methinks that the woman doth now do smile
closing such a distance betwixt our heart
of hearts. Such a true love hath no beguile
as such a love hath blossomed from the start.
Love's pure eye is transfixed, and ne'er dimmed
the truest of sweet beauty, as is thee.
All mine love is thine, as it was then,
thy love brings a peace that is fraught to see.
It is mine eye that was filled with surprise
when I beheld all the love in thine eyes.

So romantic! This is just dreamy.
