Deniers
by Johnny CrimsonErase them,
strip the ink
from the pages
and dip your quill
in a more permanent solution.
The actual events
and eyewitness accounts
can be ignored,
surely these are mad men
with mad minds and mad hearts.
Their ideas, pressing their long noses
against the glass
and fogging up the history books.
Erase them.
Cast off the select few
with their strange tattoos
and ever stranger names;
their stories of "the end"
and how it all came to be.
We cannot repeat what never existed,
and I don't like those people,
we should start separating them
from others and come up with a
final solution. 12/30/2010 Author's Note: The world scares me, Holocaust deniers frighten me, the disappearing history of world events as they actually happened is the most dangerous threat to mankind.

It is hardest to know it when the history books are rigged either by out right fabrication or by never including what is known about the past in the book. As time moves on less and less history can be carried forward into the books. We, or those existing in the future, won't have the time to read it anyway. |
