In a Universe Full of Stars by Deborah BreuerI am tired.
Tired of not knowing, not caring,
The apathy.
The all consuming, soul dwindling existence that purges me of my potential.
It leads me to ask,
Why is it,
That in a universe full of stars,
The ones that are most exhausted,
Will have the strongest impact?
I am tired.
Tired of giving, unconditionally,
Without asking why.
Why must I live as a slave to the undefined purpose?
In a universe full of stars,
Why?

| Posted by Scott Utley on 12/29/10 at 06:35 PM I love this - the concept as well as it's execution - would not be surprised if this becomes a super nova for you. |
| Posted by Laurie Blum on 12/29/10 at 08:16 PM Giving unconditionally of oneself is the single most difficult thing to do in this life. I strive for it and yet sometimes I dont quite make it. Just when you think you have exhausted yourself, something or someone will come along to renew your hope. |
