I think in fairy tales
since dreaming is all I do
during the day or the night
my mind does not discriminate.

I envision all life's possibilities
upon each stimulus
as if it were written as law,
hello and goodbye in one breath.

Funny, though, nothing
ever happens as I picture it
proving I know little
about rock and roll.

I'll be thinking in fairy tales
until one happens for me
or I'll die with one
on the tip of my tongue.
