Mind over Midas

by Vikki Owens

touch me here, you wont see me gleam,
tarnish covers everything,
and could you love this if this account is always red,
like my lips and my love,
and empty wallet heart, but these thighs are free
and if you run your forefinger up this leg
i'll let you pay for me in kisses and bedsheets.

This manages to cover some pretty strong ground in just a few lines. Lovely.
