lover, collapse.

by Vikki Owens

i've been feeling the weight,
oh honey, hush, and dissipate.
i've been feeling the fall,
and im not sure it can wait.
this heaviness and dread,
i've been here before, this urge is immediate,
this plummet is obvious..
the parachute is you, you, you.
but you seem oblivious,
what can i do but give in
and sink,
the bottom of the waves are the brink, brink, brink.

Lyrical and wonderfully woven together. I love it.
