I’ve heard many things
said about symphonies.
Some love them, pay
exorbitant amounts of money
just .to ..be ...that ....one .....row ......closer, ......hanging on every note.

To some they are relics,
anachronisms,
leftovers from an age
of stuffy, baroque styling.

But until today, I never knew that they
could be maddening.
..................Sitting here,
listening to a choir of eight
washing machines, I can’t even
think, too busy watching my thoughts
go round and round in suds.
