This is not any good, just angry.

by Jolie Jordan

Bloody
and resembling pulp,

Dripping with 5th grade
tattletale sarcasm
your intentions
ring true
and clear
(even though I know,
I'm stumbling here.)

Forgive me, but

Imagine me in a liquor-fueled rage
confident as all hell
slipping sweet goodbyes to your insides,
as I twist the knife in your throat.

Author's Note: Happy as all hell, another drink please, bartender. I'll call that cab after one more.

Gotta love a last stanza like that one. Bloody, wonderful work.

Ever-cathartic, missy.
