Beautiful Death by Rebecca BowenSuch an easy release,
With roses layed down,
And not a soul is weeping over my grave,
Just as I had asked.
Smiles all around,
Because they know I lived my life,
Before they put me in the ground.
I had a full life,
And I'm no longer in pain,
So don't worry about me,
He has set me free! 11/11/2010 Author's Note: My cousin and I were talking about school, and in previous years her and I agreed that if she ever had to write a poem, I'd pretty much do it for her, well, it was class work and due by the end of class, and she brought it up to me, the concept was to make death beautiful, inviting, something to look forward to.

However, this is a satisfactory response to the assignment. The last couple of lines explaining why death in this instance is beautiful. |
