Do you remember
when we first met?
The words we shared
of how we could care?
I often wonder this
in where I am
or what I would be
without you in my life.
I remember the very instant
I first saw you,
how beautiful you looked,
and how I was so smitten.
It's as if I were smitten
by Cupid's red arrow.
(Pierced the bone,
straight through to the marrow.)
I remember that day,
that eve, as if it were yesterday.
