A.D.D

by Chloe Sanders

Sitting unable to focus
hands shaking
thoughts running
fingers strumming
eyes wide
foot shaking
paper blank
mind a thousand different thoughts at once
cant grasp a single one
they slip and slide
cant catch one
But I need one
Come back I think you were important
I should remember you
But your gone
If I cant remember did you ever exist?
I want a mind without holes
Where my thoughts can always be whole.

...chloe, what a silent, expressive wail from a soul lost with stimulus overload...they had no initials for me back then[50s] you were just 'bothersome-cause-he-won't-sit-down' and so each line is an echo of me...i ride your wave of awareness and lack...or rather this pome does. well written, perhaps with blood, eh?

"I want a mind without holes" This is an awesome, awesome line in many ways. Well done, Chloe.
