Autopsy of An Author

by Maria Terezia Ferencz

"Hic locus est ubi mors gaudet succurrere vitae"
"This is the place where death rejoices to help those who live."

Time of Death: 6:13 am
Cause of Death: Coronary Occlusion

a lifetime of disappointment
caused constriction of the temporal lobe
creating an inability to fully cope
rendering him unable to express emotion
not dredged up with ink

necrosis of the hippocampus
created an inability to thrive in the present
yet when pressed upon one can see
there was also a complete inability
to operate normally with the past

Blunt force trauma to the heart
caused by an occlusion of the major pathways
plaque build up
most likely a by product of
very sharp tongues
and thoughtless acts

all of the veins hardened by life
the blood of his work
could no longer sustain
the heart

Autopsy
see for yourself
how the person really died
but wouldn't you rather know how he lived?

Author's Note: If this is the second time around I am sorry, I can't find it and I do not know where it came from.
