Merely a refuge
Temporary housing for the spirit

Acknowledgment

This physical shell fights for control
But has none over my hungry soul
Craving release

To breathe love on your skin
Seeking that Holy Communion again

Love
Not of the flesh
But instead to mesh

Yielding to you
Giving to you
Seeking the flowering that comes from within
Embracing your body
Thoughts in my mind
Longing to love you
Seeking to find
The harmony
Musical release of loves joining
