about me

by Charlie Morgan

we should all be in
agreement now;
it's all about me.

i have to stop the spinning
"Play List" and choose.
a pain you know nothing about.

you just know your pain, harumph!
you and your pain! so?
it's about MY pain, not yours.

i have to run as i was told,
if you stay alone, you'll be alone;
don't drown in my self-absorption.

Good one, Charlie. So true. We all have our own variety that we tends to blind ourselves with. Love ya.

See, the beauty of it being "all about me" is that, being all connected, it's so true! I do feel your pain, even though, since we are separated by time and space (conditions, by the by, that only exist in this material realm), when I experience your pain, it feels like it's coming from a phantom limb - a pain I can't quench or drown.
