I have to agree with Charlie, it reflects the beauty of holiness. My mind really can't grasp the pain God the Father, source of all types of love, went through watching the life's blood drain from all the wounds. I have children and grandchildren... and He freely chose to place His life as an offering for the higher (highest!) good. Thank you for reminding me so well I feel like tiptoeing into the presence of such a one as this with my head bowed.
