bless me, for i have sinned

by Vikki Owens

bless me, for i have sinned,
i did not let you in,
i did not let you love me,
or place your mark upon me.
i moved through you like a ghost,
and i spoke in german to confuse you,
and throw you off my vaportrails.

bless me, for i have sinned
against myself
and used my skin
for my own motives both dark and strange,
and gave it to you
only to hold you to my bed for one night
or two,
and you were only being you,
but i used everything you gave me to
make myself feel
unsinned against.

I like this. Short, simple, and to the point. :)
