so late for them

by Charlie Morgan

as his spine felt the palm of the earth,
he had a glimpse of it all, this moment
stretching through time, the only time: now.

what had he to conquer, what was to gain,
should i not savor expectant moments of memory?,
these questions and many more, made a day.

being hurled by the realities imploding him,
he divided by 2 and multiplied by whatever.
he spent his day getting no sale slips.

he's one of the happier ones; especially,
when we look at the cash-cow, sanity.
be quiet when approaching. they're wary.
