Arguements of Me by Christopher ShinWords we say.
Don't mean that
I don't care
about you.
All I want is
the gloom to end,
and the fighting
only makes me sad.
I know you have
your right to be
angry that I chose
to walk away.
But you have to understand,
that the death is gone.
I want to spend
the rest of it
with people who
want to cherish
my soul.
The freedom that
is in my grasp,
but slips through
like a ribbon.
So I choose to
be free like the raven
that flutters away.
And my cry is the sunlight
gone. 09/20/2010 Posted on 09/21/2010 Copyright © 2024 Christopher Shin
