Detached from this
this reality
this world put
in front of me
like a detached retina
unable to see.

Much of the days
they blend
they blur
while doing
the same things over
and over.

Working until
I am tired and sore
instead of living
time off
is time wasted
living a life of bore.

Detached from this
this reality
this world
I have allowed
with complacency
until it's over.

Though
I wouldn't even know
anyway.
