Day by Another Day by Amie GoldaDay by another day,
Your face, I look,
Your voice, I listen,
Your presence
Ever near me.
Yet day by day,
Can't get enough
Of short rides and swapped stories
Building bridges and cracking jokes,
That old familiar smell of comfort
of the present that is you.
But day by another day
I don't know what to make of it,
How long shall I wait
To see you truly mine?
Must I wait
To see
Your arms: surround me,
Your voice: a whisper
Only to me,
Your smile; For and of me?
Can't sleep, but can't stay awake
For fear of losing the dreams
of the future that longs

stutter what I feel now...so poetry seems the best way to let
incomplete words tumble out together...thank God for Pathetic
PS: Still working on the title
