I am that warning label
that message
with aggressive red images
telling of impending doom.

I am that meal you've eaten
that swim
20 minutes too early
the cramps are very real.

I am that poorly written poem
that jumble
words with aim
yet without the execution.

I am that military post
that guarded
fortified wall of protection
having lost one battle already.
