if it wasn't, by Charlie Morganit would be.
nulla dia...meaningless Latin, and all that.
trails me, doggedly. i tire of the round-a-bout;
you see me in a wisp, on my veranda,rocking in my complacency;
finding the little dipper,and want to marry it;
after 40 years of having it made,
i find myself sitting in judgement of the tide
of idiocy as it swims by,
at the moment, still it swims.
i cry. an ear, unhears the din
which, only,are the pains of this wonderful
life. a drama like none written.
at least yours mine as we crane at the clock,
wondering when it will be 5:00? 08/11/2010 Posted on 08/11/2010 Copyright © 2026 Charlie Morgan

| Posted by Carol Grant on 08/11/10 at 07:43 PM It's always 5:00 somewhere Charlie. Preponderence, can that be a word, well it is now. If Palin can make words so can I, [chuckles]Maybe that word sums up the feeling I have gotten here. Thank you for sharing. |
| Posted by A. Paige White on 08/11/10 at 11:24 PM It's really hard not to judge idiocy, isn't it, and wonder at the mercy that allows the bouyancy to continue. "at least yours mine as we crane at the clock, wondering when it will be 5:00?" lol, mostly for me of late, paying mainly crane operators, I think, it can't be this late already, I'm not through! But still the time goes... whether we're done or not. Enjoyed this immensely because of the crane reference. I recently began working for all crane and do prefer to answer the phone that way rather than the "all erection" we are also entitled to, and which I have a hard time leaving alone, lol. Talk about some word play at work... love this Chaz.

| Posted by Laura Doom on 08/14/10 at 12:09 AM these lines you draw always lead from detail to converge in a big picture chaz -- a masterstroke of idiosyncrasy... |
