A haze in the malaise
through these dog days
of summer.
It's a bummer
when it's so hot
and I am fraught
for a poem or two
to share with you.
My brain
still does refrain
from the penning
and thusly the punning
of this poem,
and ode in form
or perhaps not.
I wonder what
will become of
my penchant for love
when dog days
are all but haze
in this malaise
in my summer's tepid maze.
