It's so hard leaving your side,
I just want to hide
under the covers
and simply smother
you with hugs and a kiss.
I must admit that I miss
being with you,
holding you, loving you too.
So I wait,
it's never too late
to say
how much I love you on this day.
It's so very hard to leave your side,
care to stay with me, undercover, inside?
