Blinded by the light
my eyes shutter.
Like a flickering
dream.

I slam forward,
and my head finds
purchase against
the dashboard.

My mind flings
forward with thoughts
of how quick it ends.

When life seems
to die in moments,
and I explode.
As my head swims.

Love is a word
that lingers with
a kick like the
strongest spirit.

And in this life
all I can do is
think about how
it is fleeting.

When the souls
is gone so does
Cupid with all
his grace.

All I can do
is end it with
a pearly grin,
and a nod.
