sharing

by Charlie Morgan

a cartooned life plays in my mind;
i realize i better hurry.
soon others will be awake.

i'll have to make room for them;
Kai will bring his 4 yr old make-believe,
Mama'll have her gained 34 yr old
make-believe human frailties.

so i hit fastforward, hoping.
hoping to get in as much make-believe
life as i can, B.E.A.[before others awaken];
then, i'll have to share, okay. but, still.

Share while you can all the precious make believe times for too soon Kai will be too old to share the make believe games and think you're just a senile old man living in a make believe world.
