the night sky

by Jared Fladeland

when the night sky
echoes every ounce of
the constellations and galaxies above,
the sound reverberates
off the trees, the grass,
a man standing in the middle of an open field
looking up.

it is the most difficult
to take the vibrations,
and not to cry,
or crack a smile,
or realize just how amazing
this universe is.

The reason it hurts
so much to have the
universe resonate inside
is because inside every person's
finite body,
resides that very night sky,
infinite in all directions.

You are right and we take so little advantage of it. Well done!

Tru dat. Great flow and reflective cosmicity.
