Six Magic Words by Kristen HeylYou have done so much for me in life.
Always made sure I had my basic needs met
and encouraged me to be the best I could be.
Each time I "failed" at something,
you were there to dry my tears
and to tell me I could do it
using your six magic words.
During those moments of despair,
I never believed I could do the "impossible" feat.
I was proven wrong time and time again
as the six magic words echoed in my mind
driving me to succeed.
One of my dreams has become reality
thanks to your encouragement and loving actions.
There are several more dreams
I would like to see become reality.
Six magic words will help me
along my journey as I stumble,
fall, and pick myself back up again.
What are those six magic words that have driven me to succeed in life?
"Just do the best you can"
Consider each one of my successes
one of your own, mom.
For without you,
I would not have made it this far in life!
