jasmine breathes an aura by Linda Fullerjasmine breathes an aura
of hearth and ardor
ripening to a heady grog.
glimpsed through rime:
eucalyptus moon.
listen as the bandicoot
utters a plaintive who am I
I harbor a suspicion
she is my anima.
born of and into gloom
our bodies leak plasma
raining like mystics
ground into dust
eagerly cupping a cube
soaked in sugar.

Posted by George Hoerner on 07/12/10 at 12:18 PM Ah but I see beyond the gloom there is one who dreams or should. The world was made for discovery and you write as if you know it's there. |
Posted by Joe Cramer on 07/12/10 at 10:52 PM ... excellent..... |
Posted by Tom Goss on 07/14/10 at 06:08 PM I really like the feel of this one, though I'm not smart enough to figure out the acrostics. |
Posted by Max Bouillet on 07/14/10 at 11:53 PM Sweet, chaotic, and visual. I think he would have liked this --in any language. :) |
Posted by Jim Benz on 08/01/10 at 04:42 PM I think, of the two, I like this Borges acrostic the best. Argentina master indeed ... |
