more than meets the eye

- this evening
I am grateful
for the extravagant gush of wind
that on rising
billows wild the curtains
slams doors in capricious arrogance
and with a master's elegance
orchestrates the bending boughs
choirs the leaves
and undulates my e
motions
to the tinkle of angelic chimes
