stop the clinging gong
Be still
take the moment to smile
with your heart
your eyes
calm and ready
ears perked
arms and mind wide open
Let the world in with a single moment
of openness
readiness to love
to risk
to believe
to share
to listen
to grow
to thrive
to be alive
Hug humanity with a bright eyed smile
a simple one-
a real one
that says there is hope
I care
I notice you
And although a stranger
I love you
Hear their story
take it in
like an imprint of a gift
