I read your mind dyslexically by Linda FullerI read your mind dyslexically it seems
true empathy’s an alqhadet away
I only understand you in my dreams
Your syllables burn cold as blackhole beams
irradiate me briefly, then decay
I read your mind dyslexically it seems
Asleep, white water rafting on the streams
of consciousness, our grey cells splash and play
I only understand you in my dreams
The Book of You: its labyrinthine schemes
the gilt-edged pages of your brain display
I read your mind dyslexically it seems
Your muddled whispers escalate to screams
a soft intention wanders, goes astray
I only understand you in my dreams
Our discourse falls away in raveled seams
the devil advocates and joins the fray
I read your mind dyslexically it seems
I only understand you in my dreams
