I really love this whole poem but stanzas 3 & 5 are particularly striking. "intimacy is transfixed with spirituality" I find my thoughts transfixed on this line specifically. The most awesome thing about that statement is, to me, knowing that I do not receive any condemnation from the one who designed intimacy in all forms, carnal or spiritual, and not only designed it but walked in humanity, in truth, indwelling a body like ours. Fantastic poem, JZ!
(rhymes fantastically with JC :)
