we know what we know by Charlie Morganas we wake, we make an invention
of what is to be our reality today;
remembering our past-past, and present-past;
our yesterdays are busy behind us each day,
making tomorrows; proudly ahead of shedule;
of a morning's rising, we suit-up for yesterday.
mindfully settle quickly, Reality has a sleeve,
perhaps always an Ace hidden; cost ya to see.
i need a calendar, to mark-off the days
as i exist in my own mind too; thankfully.
we sleep. dream is drain [brain-drain, needed]!
an existence that proudly gives few answers, many clues.
shoulders of ideas make our path soft yet confusing.
there is a home for the common man; which he must leave. 06/25/2010 Posted on 06/25/2010 Copyright © 2026 Charlie Morgan

| Posted by Joe David on 06/27/10 at 03:21 AM yes indeed "we suit-up for yesterday" just like our military always fighting the last war. we only know what we know and do the best we can. when you say it I say of course that is obvious. but it wasn't obvious until you said it. i think that means you have insight and the authority to speak the truth. if i say "God loves you" people say so what. when Mother Theresa says it people weep and say yes yes. keep talking bro. |
